Default Sprocket set up 600f4

Looking to get more torque I am currently running 16-47 wondering if I should go 15-47 or 16-50 thinking 50 on rear will force me to get a new chain because of the size diff.... Any ideas? Also places to get good sprockets thanks

Welcome to the forum.

I wouldn't do any more than 15/47.

Many of here on the forum use Sprocket Center. They have good chain/sprocket combo packages & will cut the chain to length for you upon request.

Also, we've had an RK chain rep here recently offering discounts for CBRF members on chain/chain & sprocket combos.

Good luck shopping.

+1 to this. This is one of the more popular combos out there. It seems to have good results. If you do much more the bike will be a very high rpm while cruising. Remember if your speedo will be off too so I suggest getting a speedohealer along with your sprockets to fix that.

The speedo does not run off the front tire for any bike. The sensor is in the crankcase and I believe it goes off the transmission output shaft.

Mostly older bikes , pre say late nineties. Most all have changed since then.

Might wanna wait till you need a whole set. Keeping that older chain will likely end up tearing up a new sprocket pretty quick. Especially if you go Alu.

Steel. Its lasts longer & will be sufficient for everyday street use.

Its always a good idea to change your chain & sprockets at the same time to limit wear & to get optimum performance.
