Default speedo tach question..

Hey everybody I just have a few quick questions.. I just recently purchased a 92 f2 stunt bike that I would like to be able to ride street as well. It has no front fairings and no gauges.. I was wondering if I could just hook up an electrical tach and speedo like you would in a car or do I need to do much much more.. I am also looking for a good deal on some rece fairings as well. Last but not least, the bike has a giant rear sprocket and is extremely hard to ride at higher speeds, is this because of the sprocket? I belive that it is a 64 tooth...

As far as your sprocket... yeah... thats definately what will do it. When you get a sprocket that big, your top speed will prolly be around 80 or less... 64 is quite a jump from stock. A lot of people who like to stunt and ride street (as you want to do) go with a sprocket in between the extreme (bout 64 hahah have seen up to around 72) and the stocker. That way they get the torquiness and quick acceleration, but their top speed isnt right on the speed limit, so your not workin the bike so hard.

good luck, its all a guess and check game :S
