Hey everyone, I'm new to this site. I belong to the Dodge forum and never once thought about looking into this site until my Sarge tonight mentioned it.

Anyways, I have an '01 F4i and my speedo and tach (actually my entire display) went out on me. The weird thing is, they come on when I apply the brakes. I am assuming I have a short somewhere but can't figure it out. Does this sound familur to anyone else out there? Anyone have any suggestions for me?!?!

check all your harness connections, fuses, and loose wires

 

When installing my integrated taillight/signals, I ran into the same problem. I took off and realized that nothing worked. I just stopped and checked the fuses and sure enough, that was the problem. Although, I didn't pay attention to the brake thing. So this may be something completely different. Hope it helped, haha...

 

just ride with the brake on everywhere like my dad lol
