Default spark plugs advice.

WEll I guess this is a newbie Question: I own a 1990 Honda Hurricane and It just reached 22,000.00 miles i did a regular tune up on it thinking that it will boost its performance. The only thing I did not change was the spark plugs. I will be soon its just that I needed some advice on whats good out there and how much will it cost?

Are you the original owner???? If so, you are LONG overdue for plugs as the older CBR's need plugs changed every 8k. If you aren't the original owner, then you need to find out when the plugs were last changed.

Personally, I recommend that you install what came stock on the bike (NGK DPR8EA-9 or equivalent from other manufacturer). NGK does make an iridium equivalent. I used an iridium equivalent on my F3 and found that i was able to extend spark plug life to 16k.

i use the ngk iridium plugs for my 05 1krr and i have to use them because of the way the engine is designed so yeah they run like 20 bucks a pop lol. and on a side note they do need to be changed but i am too lazy and cheap to change them out lol

I think you can pick up them up for like $12 each. I would just go ahead and replace them, kind of an important part to an internal combustion engine.
