Spark Plugs
My 97-F3 was running fine until my friend and I took the bike to DMV inspection. When the inspector told me to turn it on, it would crank but not start. When I got home I took everything apart, fairings, gas tank, and air box looking for any loose parts. Then I saw that one of the air hoses was not connected. Put it back on-- tried to turn it on but same problem. So I went to the Spark Plugs, took one off and it was black also a bit wet! It was the same for the rest of the plugs. Could this be my problem? What is the cause of the spark plugs being black and wet? How can I fix this issue? Please Help!!
He said he didn't have an air hose connected. He didn't say to what but that could have led to the plugs getting fouled too.
I'd say clean the plugs, make sure Hose A-Z is in Slot A-Z and give 'er a try.

Thxs Fellas!
After cleaning the spark plugs, and connecting an air hose that connected to a small air box on the left hand side of the bike--the bike started right up
. Gotta bring the bike to Inspection, hopefully next week. It failed because it was missing one reflector on the front plus the rear ones. Gonna search ebay and see if I find something. Also the front brake pads were bad! ++ the bike wouldn't start! lol
