can anyone tell me what the gap should be on a cbr 600 f2.

0.8 to 0.9mm (0.031 to 0.035 in)

Shop manual recommends .03 to .04. Go to .035 and your good. Remember the rule, the wider the gap, the hotter the spark, and the harder the coils work.
