I have a 1993 CRB600, i just looked in my tank with a flashlight and saw a little stringy looking red thing floating at the bottom of the tank.. is that suppost too be there?? im guessing No?? Any1 have any idea's??

 

im hoping your bike is not on its period... use something and get it out of the tank. on some of the fuel additives we use at the dealership i work at there is a red disc inside the can of the additive. maby someone used an additive and something fell out into the tank. thats about the only conclusion i can come up with. and sorry about the rag joke.

Dont forget to remove her "tank bra" first.

Before you stick anything in the tank, make sure you take it out for diner. You know how they get around that time.

 

[sm=funnypostabove.gif] Im not sure how the tanks compare but I had a lot of trouble trying to get something out of my tank on my 94 f2. i would recommend not turning it over just because when i tried it i couldnt get all the gas out because of the way it is shaped.

 

when i drop a bolt into the abyss (somewhene in bike i cant reach) i use a grabber tool. it has 4 retractable hooks with a spring like plunger on top. stick this in the fuel filler hole and pull the mysterious "red thing with a string" out. problem solved. then take her out to dinner for violating her fuel hole.
