Default Slip on question

I have an 06' 1000rr and I purchased a Leo V. slip on pipe to replace the stock can. On the stock system the E.G.C.V. (exhaust gas control valve) is attached to it. It doesn't appear the Leo pipe has a place for this attachment, so am I to assume then it wont be used at all?

Do I simply un-plug and remove it?

Sorry if it seems like a stupid question but I would rather do this install myself than pay the dealer outrageous price for the install.

Thanks

You simply unhook the cables to the servo. Do not disconnect the wires from the servo though. Remove the cables and let the servo just function as it normally would, there just wont be any cables there. Otherwise, you will get a fault light on your gauge cluster.

Just to clarify, you'll get a fault light if it's unplugged. Great choice of pipe! Do as said above...
