Default Is Shell Rotella Syn still OK to use?

Noticed on my last trip to WM that the Rotella Full Syn had gone up a few bucks but no longer says that you shouldn't use it in the 2008 vehicles. In fact it says it complies with all standards.

Anyone know if it is still OK to use in our bikes, or will the new formulation screw up the clutch disks?

FWIW, I love this stuff. Was using Repsol Semi Syn and Honda filter and averaged about 43mpg but switch to Shell Syn with Purolator filter got me an average of 45mpg or better in my 92 F2. Not bad for being nearly $25-$30 cheaper for the oil change.

Shell Rotella T synthetic is good to go. I've had engineers confirm. There are articles about this if you need them.

Depends on how old the info is. The change I noticed has happened in the last 90 days or less. The stuffI bought over the summer for an oil change has different specs listed than the stuff on the shelf right now.

The oil I'm talking about has long chain molecular structure, ideally suited for motorcycle engines.
It is used primarily in diesel trucks, but is ideal for bikes and cheaper than Actevo and others.
Australians have been using it for years.
They don't specify it for bikes, but if you do a search in the Hurricane section, we've beaten this one to death. The engineers at Shell confirmed what I'm saying around 3 weeks ago.
What spec change have you noticed ?

I run the Rotella T in my bike, changed over to it last month, with NO issues in my bike whatsoever.

There are so many great things that I cant begin to fathom where to start on the subject of oil.

I just recently used rotella instead of Amsoil because i really needed to change it and couldn't find Amsoil locally. that and a Pure one gold filter, no ill effects so far (only a few hundred miles at the moment)

I switched over to Rottella T also because I think it is BS that mortorcycle oil is some super special secret developed by mad scientists and you HAVE to use what THEY tell you to use, and charge you over the top for it. I think I paid 18.00 for a gallon vs8 bucks a quart. I read read and read some more on forums, to oil studies and you name it, shell rotella is superb for a motorcycle. Some folks say that a diesel lugs at low Rpm and your bike screams at 10K so it needs something special, well hell, all the stress put on a deisels valve train and a blower that spins at 40K needs good oil also. So.....long story short, I use shell Rotella in everything I own, from a 1969 Ford with a big block, to the wifes Nissan Murano, and all of my motorcycles, zero complaints from me. I changed the oil in my truck not long ago and I can say that the oil looked better than previous samples I had used. Thats highly subjective, but oh well.
