Default Second gear

Im having a issue with second gear it will go into gear but if you give it too much throttle it slips into neutral i was told it was the dog ear but im not able to find the part i need to fix it is there a proper name for the part.

Has it been doing it long? Year/miles on bike? Did you try adjusting your shift lever to rule out technique? Change oil? It could be a bunch of things ( broken/worn shift fork, gear, etc). I'm having same problem on my 99 cbr 900 with 42k. But it only does it sometimes (rarely). I also have a 13 cbr1000 with 5k and I never have a problem. Look at a parts diagram and you'll see the parts like these:
