Default Seat Lock

Afer I dropped my bike I found out that the seat lock doesn't work. I can turn the key but the rear seat will not budge. Is there someway to get at the lock with the rear seat and fairing still on?

Yes there is. Use a flat head screw driver and disengage the "hook" from the bracket. It doesn't warp under so is easy to do. Then, address your alignment issue or what ever it is that's messing up.

Default RE: Seat Lock

Well the problem is I cannot see anything while I am trying to do this. On top of that, from what I can see, there is a plate over the whole hook that I cannot seem to get around. This is a 02 f4i if that clarifies anything. Anybody have a diagram of the lock they could post up?
