what do you guys think about shaving the seat on a 02 f4i. i need to lower it a little bit, i am 5'7 about 185 and i all i can get down is my tip-toes. i really dont have the 150 for a link at the moment, just looking for a quick fix untill i get back from my deployment in july.

You can do anything you want with the seat, but any padding you remove is going to put your bum closer to the mount & and a few hours in the saddle could prove painfull, your not exactly a short ****, so maybe it's the width of the seat rather than the height!

i thought that to, but i dont know if there is anything you can do about the width is there.

dragonium25 i already wear combat boots in my uniform, i dont know if i can get much higher heels.lol

Just put one foot on the floor as when stopped at a junction. How long will you have the bike to justify messing with the seat and how easy will it sell with a butchered seat. Use one foot on the floor and if stopped for a while, i.e. at a meet, use the side or center stand.
