Sorry for brief post I'm frustrated at the forum failure at this moment. Also had to omit words to get it through so it may sound weird
Bought a 02 F4i with Scorpio alarm installed on it. Model i500. I went riding today and it kept chirping at me. Every 3 or 4minutes it would chirp once and blink once.

 

BOTH the blinkers would come on once like hazard on a car.

 

This damn forum needs to get fixed

Sorry I dont know anything about the alarm but maybe it could be some antitheft device where you might have to push a button on the body somewhere like on a car alarm. Might be a dumb response but thought I can just throw in my 2 cents.

 

Blinker should flash whenever the alarm is armed or goes off. It will also chirp whenever you remove the connections to the battery and reconnect. You might have a bad ground or hot wire going to the alarm.

 

well i popped the seat to check on wiring, turns out that the previous owner wired the alarm with electrical tape..so i gotta re-wire everything hopefully that will fix the problem

 

Yeahprevious did it to the blinkers on mine too. Took it all apart and soldered everything and heat shrunk all connections.
