Default running/starting issues

I have an 07 600RR and I am having issues with the bike starting. I can jump the bike and it will run until I pull one of the connectors off and it dies. I have been told that it is a bad stator, but I am trying to make sure before I spend money and time to make sure that is the problem. I pulled the battery off and charges it but when i hooked it back up I still had no power. The clock would come on but as soon as I turn the key it kills all the power and the clock will shut off. None of the lights will come on at all and when I flip the kill switch on and push the start button the power will blink but and lights will flash but nothing else. If anybody has had the same problem please help me out and thank you in advance for the advice.

First off you probably have a bad (unchargeable) battery. Replace it with a known good one, and test your charging system per the instructions in the service manual. It's almost always the R\R, which causes the battery to not charge and murders it. It is very, very, very rare to have a stator go bad.
