I just picked up a mint 2007 CBR 1000RR and everything is awesome except my running lights are intermittent. The guy I purchased the bike from had HIDs installed so I figured the ballast may be going bad. Well I swapped the two ballast and the problem still persist (I had my fingers crossed the high beam would act up but nothing). Another strange thing I noticed is if I start the bike immediately the light will work but the temp reads ----. I believe its not completing the initial electrical check and allowing a fault to be bypassed. I'm new to this forum and wanted to see if you guys had any helpful advice before I start chasing wires around.

 

Never mind...I pulled out the wires and figured out the issue
