Default Rim Install

Just gotsome Pilot Powers put on my rims. I removed the rims myself but now my torque wrench disapeared. How much should i tighten the axle nuts for the rear without a torque rench or any other of the bolts for that matter.. Anything would help..
Thanx

What bike? What's the point of telling you the torque if you don't have a torque wrench to do it?

i wouldn't. I would go barrow someone elses or find out who took yours. You don't want it to tight and def not to loose. If not i just bought a new one at sears for 90 bucks.

You can get away with PFT on some things such bolts going into the frame or bolts with nuts on the end. If your working with aluminum threads... be REALLY careful or you'll be retaping the threads. Best off to use a torque wrench for those sensitive parts.

What happened to cotter pins? Cotter pins were used to be threaded through a tightened nut..like a rear axle nut...to keep them from backing
off...

The axle itself had a hole drilled through it...

Jeez..I missed alot between 1995 and 2006....
