Reserve Tank
Hi everybody,
I am theproud newowner of a Black CBR 600F 05 plate. It's my first bike IPicked it up today and rode it 100 miles through the pouring rain, getting lost for an hour in London. The whole journey I was wondering how I know if I need fuel. then the reserve tank came on.
Hence my question....
How far can you ride on the reserve tank on my bike ???
Thanks and hope you can help

RE: Reserve Tank
Yup, what these guys said. I have a HUGE reserve for my bike, at something like 1.1gal, which is pretty impressive. then again I've got a 5.5gal tank on my ninja 1000 now. got rid of the cbr and replaced with a ninja.
but once your reserve light comes on, seek THE CLOSEST fuel station or you'll be pushing it to that nearest fuel station.

RE: Reserve Tank
Fill the tank to the max then reset your tripometer then ride until
you need gas again, either wait until you need the reserve or open
up tank and take a look and check that way. then you know howmany
miles/kilometers you have in a tank of fuel. everytime you fill up just
reset the tripometer. its not a nice empty full fuel gauge but it helps
to tell you when you are getting low on fuel.
