Default Repair crack fairing

Hey members,

What's a good way to repair minor crack fairing. I said minor because the crack is at the tab/hole area, where you mount the screws.

I can take some pictures if you like but I think you know what I mean...it's like someone over tighten screw and the plastic crack but luckily did not break off...

I want to repair soon before it gets worst.

Tks!!

Fiberglass tape/cloth and epoxy resin on the back-side. Where it won't show.

Paint on some resin, press the tape into it, paint on more resin.
If you've got the clearance, do it again.

Sand/gring when hardened, to clean it up.

ive used a soldering gun and zip ties (for extra plastic) to "weld" it up before.

My work sells and distributes this stuff. Pick up some epoxy at your local auto store similar to this. Works awesome when applies to the inside of cracked fairings. ----Very strong/durable plastic finish

Get a soldering iron, a short length of ABS tubing from home depot, and a dremel tool. Grind away about 1/4 of the way through the plastic along the crack to make a groove, both front and back. Use the soldering iron to melt the crack together, front and back. Then use some of that abs plastic as scratch material to melt and fill your groove. Sand smooth, repaint, good as new

Easy as pie, I'll do a write up when I get a little more time. This is what I use, it's made by Urethane Supply Company and works like a top, comes with a boat load of plastic rod of all type.
