A buddy of mine wants me to replace his Reg/Rect on his 08 CBR 600. I haven't looked at his bike yet, but was wondering where it is located? Pics would be great, thanks. :-)

 

Probably on the right side, under the rear tail section. It will have a bunch of heat-sink fins, I believe. If it's like the F3, there will be 3 yellow wires leading to it. This is a guess, but probably a pretty good one.
