welp, i made it back in one piece, haha. rode to school nervous the entire way, guess it's a bit irresponsible. will def replace tire this wkend and mind as well have them do the alignment as well as long as its not too costly. string method looks time consuming.

thanks idodirt and redbaron, will replace asap.
