The old pump was internally trashed. The injectors and fuel rail were gummed up with old fuel; nothing but an ultrasonic cleaning was needed to cure that. The starter was just plain old stuck due to not being used in such a long time. All I had to do to coax the starter back into operation was basically give her a massage! I sanded the rust off of the front fork tubes but I will eventually replace them with a new set that I picked up on ebay.
