Does anyone know how long the rear brake pedal's return spring is (unstretched)? I lost mine and I think I might be able to replace it with one from a hardware store (DoIt Centers carry door springs that look similar)...

Ideally I'd like to know how thick the coils are too, if someone has a caliper.

 

Just buy a spring you think is long enough and wide enough and cut it to length with some clippers. Just make sure its strong enough to be able to return the pedal yet not too strong to where your forcing it down.

 

You can't cut down a return spring... it has hooks on each size.
