Default Question regarding tank protectors

Quick question regarding the sticky carbonfiber look a like tank protectors... If I want to replace one I already have applied, how difficult are they in removing without causing damage to the tank?

Any solvants I should use?

Should come off somewhat easily, if it seems like it wont grab a hairdryer and warm it up, that will loosen some of the glue. Peel it off, then take some goo gone or something similar and clean off any residue. Take rubbing alcohol after that and clean it squeaky. Apply new pad.

+1 on them not being that hard to remove. If you can get your nail under the old one, just start peeling up. Go slow and use that goo-gone stuff if there's any sticky stuff left over. (Make sure you use something like Windex, the window cleaner, after you use goo-gone. That stuff is slick and it will eat the glue on the new protector you're wanting to apply!)

I use an old store card with a bit of heat to scrape that kinda thing off.
