Back Protectors.. and chest protectors?

Default Back Protectors.. and chest protectors?

I'm still covered on my parents health insurance untill june 1st. After june 1st i wont be anymore so i'm going to get some amor. What back protectors or back and chest protectors do you guys use? How do you like them?

I was looking at this one but i'm not sure if its any good being how cheap it is.

That looks like it would be fine. I personally dont like a chest protector but thats just me. They rub my armpits and I feel like I cant move very well. I use the tech back protector with shoulder straps.

how comfterable are they? does it bug the sh*t out of you if you ride for more then an hour?

I never even know my back protector is on. Very comfortable, but beware you get what you pay for. Poorly made protection gear can cause lots of discomfort.

Go to a local dealership that has back protectors in stock and try them on with your jacket. That will give you an idea of how comfortable it will be.

I use the Alpinestars too, very comfy, when buying go the shop with your gear and try the protector on for comfort with at least your jacket. This way you can compare the differences.
