Question: First start after engine rebuild
WTF ?!?! Alright, just got her back together after rebuilding the engine (only down to the pistons). After a bit of troubleshooting she kicked right back to life. The oil light stayed on for a minute which I was expecting but then she started smoking from under the tank.
I did not see location cause i freaked and shut her down. Very light smoke, barely visable. Could this have been just the moly solution and usual startup or something I should be worried about?? Thanks
And i just thought, maybe the oil that was used as lube to get the throttle body on??

Nothing much to worry about IMO. After rebuild, you certainly have a few drops of oil or coolant here and there. As everything starts to heat up, those surface traces start to evaporate, creating some 'alarming' fumes.
