question on cam-chains...
I have a 97 CBR600 F3...in process of finishingre-assembling my motor...on the steps of installing the cams, cam sprockets, and cam chain. I don't have much experience with cams and cam chains and timing...so I stay paranoid. Should I expect the cam chain to be pretty tense between the cam sprockets (the section on the top half of the motor, that would be covered by the cam chain cover) ? There is only about 1 or 2 mm of deflection(up-down) there, with all the other slack towards the rear of the motor (where the cam chain tensioner is, so I am expecting that). Any feedback? thanks in advance.
