Default Chains
I have a 96 CBR600f3 would putting a 525 chain on do any harm as i have been given a gold x ring and my current 530 is knackered thanks to our fantastic british weather.

It won't do any harm. Probably be better for it. Just make sure to change the sprockets to those for a 525 chain.

a 530 is much stronger than a 525 but if you change the chain u gotta change the sprockets
