Question About New Chain And Its Length
I have a 93CBR600f2 and I just bought aRK 530 XSO X-Ring Gold Race Chain with a 120 Links. My sprocket configuration is front 14tooth rear 43tooth. With my old chain off and laid out I put my new chain out next to it and broke the new chain where I thought it would line up . . . Well I broke it one link short of matching the old one. Will this have a negative effect and or what effect? I do not know how many links the chain had as I did not count them nor did I buy the old chain, the bike came with it.
