Default Question on chain length

My bike has a 36T rear sprocket and I am changing it out to the stock 44T. I'm afraid that my chain will be too short. What is the minimum number of links on a chain for it to fit a 15T front and a 44T rear?

110 links is what it is stock. I'm not sure any shorter will work?

It's actually a really good idea to change your chain too, if your putting on new sprockets. that way they wear together at the same rate.

I've heard if you put an old chain on new sprockets or vice versa, it actually wears out the new parts faster.

Or.... you could get a 520 conversion kit that has both sprockets and a chain. Otherwise, yes, I have also heard of new sprockets with old chain wearing out faster.
