my buddies bike 2005 gixer 600 ( ino i make fun of him too) wont start, the bike is getting power, we took the battery had it tested, and they told us it was still good. When we turn the bike on the fuel pump does not make the whining noise and it wount even try to turn over.... i took off the tail and tank and all the fuses are good, and i made sure everything was pluged in. it all looked good. anyone have any input of whats wrong?

 

post a wire diagram,then i can tell you!

the lights and all the good stuff wok, just no feul pump and it wont even try to crank over when i start it.

Don't wanna make it sound like you're an idiot but check the kill switch. I know I know it sounds stoopid but the stooges where I work flicked mine to off when I wasn't watching and the smyptoms are the same, making me look quite the fool. No pump, no crank but all lights etc etc.

 

Kill switch, but check for continuity of the switch itself via the connector.

 

Kickstand switch/wire (happened to my buddy when he was riding)? Bad fuel pump or bad wire to pump?

Oh..you said Gixxer...then it has to be too much estrogen.
