I am running a power commander II on my 01 f4i, I just installed a new Yoshimura RS-3 pipe and now need to install the map for the pipe instead of the open down pipe I was running, throttle response in between the 2 maps is completely different. When I plug in the power commander into my laptop it says "device driver not installed successfully" where can I get the driver? Then in command center software it says "No power commander found" even with the power on. Any help?

you have to go to raido shack and but one its like 40 bucks and than you have to go into your device mannager in the computer and make sure you select a port or it will not conecct and another thing in the top of the power commander center you have to unclick the rest button and advance senting or it will not map... if you need nay help lmk i will help you the best i can.... gl

 

I've got that cable, same cable I use with my laptop in my car, so cable works. I selected the port, When I called power commander they said 9 times out of 10 a serial cable won't work at all, but couldn't give me any ways to tune it... Makes no sense to me. I just had my buddy do it, he has had similar problems and has multiple cords and found one to work.
