Default Possible Security System?

Too often we hear people's bikes getting stolen by low-life scumbags, so I was checking around online for security systems, and happened upon this little gizmo:

http://www.lojack.com/products-servi...ndingpage.html

Its a transmitter thats activated once you report your bike missing to the police. According to the website, it helps the police locate your missing bike. Pretty sweet if you ask me. Has anyone seen this before? Better yet, does anyone own one of these things?

Apart from the joy rider type thief, what do the "pros" want with the bike? The CBR 600RR is the 2nd most stolen bike in the UK. Mine went last friday while I parked it up and went for dinner and it was alarmed in a residential area as well as disc lock and HISS 2. It was parked up next to a VFR and they left the VFR alone.
