Default PCIII map mods on home computer....

Hey guys, I am trying to combine a map with awesome low and mid range, with a map that has wicked top end. My question is, the home software only changes throttle position in values of 20, so when I overwrite the fuel values, is the power commander "smart" enough to increase and decrease fuel gradually, or does it only change at the points where the throttle % hits another 20 and or 250+/- r.p.m.s ?

Example: At 11,000 RPMs,
60% throttle, I have a value of -16.
80% throttle, I have a value of -9.
What about 70% throttle ? Will it be stuck at -16 still, or will the PCIII
progress to -12.5 on its own ?

I dont have a dyno nearby, so I hope the PC is smart enough to progress on its own, without being programmed to do it at a shop.....
