Painted Wheels

Painted Wheels
I've been thinking about taking the wheels off the bike and painting them. What I'm wondering is what my options are. I have a feeling I'm going to be stuck having to get them powder coated simply because of the wear and tear. I was just wondering if this was my ONLY option, or if there was something I could do myself, without dishing out major cash and having to wait a while for the job to get done. Thanks guys. Oh btw, I want to match the bike's wheel color to the color of the bike. I've got the Red/Black scheme.

RE: Painted Wheels
Just get them powdercoated. Most shops will powdercoat the wheels for around $50 to $75 each. Powdercoating is alot more durable then paint and it's easier to clean and it will last alot longer. Powdercoating comes in hundreds of colors and most shops will give you a warranty when you get it done.
