Operating temps

Default Operating temps

I just recently purchased a 05 cbr 600rr and i was curious as to what is a temp range i was riding the other night it was about high 70s and temp would be at 180 avg while riding at stop it would go up to 220 where the fan kicks in and stays around there i was wondering what are some thoughts i live in miami FL so temp is always warm also sincee i have your attention what is recomm. on yoshi pipe for this bike

I was checkin out the RS-5 Carbon for my CBR1000. I hear good things about the RS-R's. You should check out some Arrow exhausts too.

i have the rs5 on mine and it sounds great. and as for the temp that sounds about normal thats what mine does. if im at alot of lights it gets up to 220 but as soon as i start to go again it usually sits at about 175.

Temps sound good, I'm in central florida. It seems once my bike gets hot it tends to stay hot.

As long as the temp is not flashing at you your straight. When it's flashing you have a problem. Fan comes on at 220f. Just don't get into the habbit of shutting it off when it's hot. Repeated shut offs without letting it cool is no good and you'll create hot spots in the engine. Let the cooling system do what it was designed to do.
