Sitting at a stop light in the middle of summer, i've never seen mine go over 218F. Cruising on the highway i'm usualy steady between 175F and 187F. Depending on the weather.
Thats just mine tho. I'm sure others are only slightly different if they are different at all.

this topic is one of the main reasons i joined the forum. i ride a 954 and live in wilmington, nc. in motion the bike stays between 175 and 185. get to a light though and sit for a couple minutes, or even cruise at less than 35, and the thing reaches 210 to 220 very quickly. I was wondering if anyone has tried any high performance coolants, and if they got any good results from it?

About the same as me.

And with no air flow, of course its going to spike up pretty quick.
