Hey guys im feeling to change the oil in my 06 honda cbr f4i and was wondering if anybody could tell me whats the best oil to put in it and how many bottles??

 

Do you have a manual? The capacity is about 3.5qts.

Best oil? Everyone has a recommendation. If it were me, I'd probably use mobil 1 10W40.

 

I use Redline synthetic motorcycle oil in 10W40. Any motorcycle synthetic oil (4 stroke of course) will work good. Some people like to run semi-synthetic oil, which is also good. Mobil 1, Motul, Amsoil are all great brands.

 

Do yourself a favor and don't listen to any of us on this subject because we all have our own opinions. Go here, educate yourself and form your own opinion.

Motorcycle Oil and Filters

 

I use mobil 1 with the oem filter. before you change your oil out put a bit of seafoam in there, ride around for 100 miles and than change out your oil. it will clean everything out very well; however its a very heated conversation oil and seafoam.

I would recommend synthetic if you ride hard or its cold where you live, otherwise save the money and go with the rotella T... After reading up of course.
