odd question about the kill switch
guys how does the kill switch oerate on an f2? when i but the bike away over winter she was running fine. already had no clocks fitted with the wiring going to the clocks wrapped up under the tank with all connecters on. i decided to tidy things up while i convert her to a cafe fighter so cut the instrument connecters off( and heat shrinked all the exposed ends) now the bike wont start. all the other electrics work and the headlight goes off when i hit the start button so i know that works. only thing i can think of is the kill switch. but i cant remember if when the switch is off it disables the starter or the ignition( which lets it turn over, but not start) had a look at a very bad blurry print out of the wiring diagram which seems to point to the kill switch and not the cdi. anyone else had the same prob, or got any ideas what else it could be.
