Default normal?

hi... i recently bought a CBR600RR and I let my friend ride it. He does not know how to ride motorcycle. Thus, he stalled my bike 4 or 5 times. The problems came.. the bike wont start. I believe the battery is low or something. However, I waited an hour the bike started fine again. Is this normal?

Wanna keep your bike and your friends?

Keep them separate!

Your charging system will not work until the bike has at least 3k revs. If it has no problems starting after you've ridden it normally, your friends ineptness probably just drained it of sufficient charge to crank.

BTW, get a battery tender. Running a bike with a low battery is a great way to cook your regulator/rectifier and then your stator.

Your battery might be on it's last leg and that muck cranking drained it to low to start the bike. A battery will some back chage it's self to a degree after a rest-that is why it started an hour later. Next time your cell phone charge is low turn it off for awhile then turn it back on and you will see the battery charge came up some, but it will not last long.

It's your bike, but I would not let someone that does not ride ever ride my bike.I don't even let other riders ride it.

Flooded. I don't think your buddy broke your bike, just gummed it up. I did it to my bike when I was washing it. Started it, rode it 5 feet, turned it off, then it wouldn't start. then it it did. And we lived happily ever after.

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuul shiiiiiiiiiit!!!!!!!

If the motor is running and the charging system is working, then it's charging the battery.

OP, sounds like your friend just drained the battery a little. leaving it sit to recharge was the right thing to do. what year RR do you have? i ask because of the problem the 2003/2004's have.
