RE: noob question.
I have the kmanuel, its not that hard at all. As long as you follow it.When I take the engine to pieces sokmetikmes I like to photograph the part and location just to be on the safe side. One thing for sure, put lintfree rags or sokmething in the intakes befor you take off the carb assekmbly, to stop bits falling into them.

RE: noob question.
I have ordered the haynes book on: http://www.repairmanual.com Hey, it was $6.95 plus shipping, more to put in the bike. I also looked at the carbs section at: http://www.dansmc.com/MC_repaircourse.htm It was helpful. By the end of this I may need every section. I pulled the carbs and cleaned them out. A couple of the jets were totally clogged I cleaned all i could while the tank was off, I've got her all back together, not the plastic, and the kicker is I cannot start the bike because I finished at 3:00am. Sure looks cool like a street fighter. Will take it around the block like that!!! I hope I hope I hope.
