NJ Motorcycle Inspection

NJ Motorcycle Inspection
Hey all, I bought a CBR F2 last month and finally got around to getting it work with the help of Dissevered and Hershey.
(BTW guys, I got the blinkers working. The turn signal relay had a problem. It's just dangling...so I taped it down. I need to find out where it's suppose to stay.)
Anyways...the bike is registered and insured. I need to get it inspected.
Question 1: Can i ride it to the DMV legally?
Question 2: The list below are the DMV requirements....I have all of it. Do I need a CHAIN GUARD to pass NJ inspection?
Question 3: Where is the rear reflector suppose to be located on an F2?
To pass inspection, you must have:
License plates with current decal and current registration
Proof of insurance
Valid motorcycle driver license
Steering, suspension, and wheel alignment
Handlebar grips that are not higher than your shoulders when you are seated on the motorcycle in normal driving position
Horn
Red rear light and reflector
Stop light
Head light
Rear view mirror
Exhaust system
Tires
Seat, hand holds, and foot rests
Adequate brakes (all motorcycles made after 1974 require brakes on front and rear wheels.)
For added measure...I'm going to get the bike inspected at Rahway Motor Vehicles.

Question 1 - Yes if the bike is registered and insured they should have given you a small card giving you a certain amount of time to ride the bike before you need to get it inspected
Question 2 - I honestly do not think you NEED a chain guard to pass
Question 3 - On almost all bikes there is a reflector under the license plate. So mount one underneath or get some sticker type reflectors to put in the lower corners of your plate
From my expericence its all about the type of person you get doing the inspection, they can either be a real PITA, or really cool and just give it a quick once over. Good Luck
