Default new tires and front rim<<<

hey, i just bought a pair of Michelin Pilot Roads for my F2. I took the rear hugger off today, before I got the tires put back on. Will my rear hugger fit a 170 tire? Also, I have a flat spot in my front tire from an accident with the previous owner, and it didint feel bad with the old tires. But now that I have the new ones on, I seem to notice it alot more. I have gone well over 160kmh with the old tires and everything has always felt stable. Is there a chance that the shop could have made my little flat spot worse? Or am I just thinking it is? If so, what is so bad about having a funny rim anyways? I only feel it when im going slow on a super smooth road.

Do you mean you have a dent in the rim? Aluminium isnt very flexible so if it dents it gets weaker, that and the unusual shape of the rim might give you a wobble at higher speeds. If it was fine before then your new tyres may not have been balanced properly.

We cannot know if your new tyre will fit your hugger, chances are it probably will but only you will be able to determine that - just try it out.
