I AM WANTING TO GET A -1 IN FRONT AND +2 in the rear i was wandering if i could use my stock 520 chain or upgrade to another 525 or 530
what wouldbe the best setup

 

you should be able to use the stock chain.

IF SO WHAT WOULD BE THE PROS AND CONS OF A 525 OR EVEN A 530

 

520 has less rotating mass. supposedly that means you accelerate faster. but they wear out quicker.

525-530's little bit heavier but last longer.

not sure what stock is. look at your manual

 

Just be sure that the sprockets and chain are both the same pitch (520, 525, or 530). You prob. won't notice much difference between the 520 and 530, especially if you're going with the sprocket set you're thinking about. I'd go with the 530 and make it last longer. Stay away from Vortex sprockets...they're crap. If you get aluminum make sure you go with hard anodized - they'll last longer.

16/46 is the stock sprocket
