Default new exhaust question

i got a jardine rt-1 dual outlet today for my 06 600rr. my question is do i need to have a pc or a fuel programmer at all or is that just most peoples preference to get one?? sorry if this is a dumb question but just curious before i tare into the bike.

Replacing an exhaust does not necessarily mean you need a pc, etc. However, more often than not, it does help.

Your bike is fuel injected and will adjust. Programming the curves and etc can sometimes net you addtional gains beyond that but it will be fine as it is otherwise.
