new CBR 1000
Hey guys, this is my first post here, as well as my first Honda. I recently switched from a GSXR 1000, ( 2007 ) to my 2012 1000 rr brand new from showroom that never sold in 2012. My question is what do you guys recommend for the suspension settings for my weight of 225lbs, I don't track it as we don't have on here, but have decent roads and twisties and over passes that we play on. Im very unfamiliar with this bike as Ive had it for 3 days, but so far it seems sooo much better handling than my gsxr is. And its still set at factory settings. Any recomondatons? So far I have a full akro pipe, and fender eliminator, and shorty levers with pirreli 2ct tires.

Carguy, I have the 2008 version of that bike. My suspension settings are still at whatever they were when it came from the factory. I do know that if you really want to get into it and adjust things for the type of riding you do and your weight they say it can make a big difference. I've just never gotten the urge to do it in the nearly 4 years I've owned mine.
Here are some videos if you want to adjust yours. Be sure and write down the factory default settings before you start so you can always start over if you feel you made things worse.
