You can download a Service Manual (very helpful): LINK. On the F4i, there is a nipple on the side of the filler neck on your radiator to which the coolant reservoir hose attaches to. The hose should be routed on the right side of the engine. As for the radiator fluid level, it should be filled to the brim. Run the bike to operating temperature with the radiator cap off, and keep filling as needed (it'll suck it down as it warms up). Once satisfied with it, put the cap back on and fill the reservoir to the recommended level.

All the way to the top ... and I would attach the coolant overflow hose to the radiator lest it sprays stinky coolant all over your engine. Also be careful about getting it on your rear tire. But technically, you shouldn't be riding without the reservoir hooked up, imo. I'd wait until you attach it to ride it.
