Default Need new battery?!?

So...battery goes dead...connect it to the charger...ONLY 15-20mins says "charged". Now bike starts up fine...after 3 days, drained!!!

I have to charge the battery Everytime if I'm letting it sit for more than 2-3 days. The wires and connections are fine too with battery, stator, and rectifier. Could it be a battery going dead? Also its a sealed battery, can't check water level. Any ideas appreciated, thanks in advance!

Almost forgot to mention it didn't really do this til I low-sided on stator and RR side. Before that, battery will hold charge for a week (still not so great tho).

Sounds like a bad battery.

How old is it?
Charge it up and have it load tested. If it fails, replace it.

What kind of charger are you using on that battery that it fully charges in 15-20 minutes? A small motorcycle battery should not be charged at the same high rate as a car battery.

Battery is a cheap 45 dollar brand. I got it 8 months ago, and I'm using a bike charger. Been bz so I keep on side tracking about getting a multimeter for testing.

Cheap batteries = cheap results.

Get a good quality battery like - Yuasa.

Yup!!! i'm going back to that to that brand. price shot up over the years tho.

Anyways, a friend dropped by and i told him to take it to his work and test it for me (auto dealership). He called me and said "bad cell". so new battery should do the trick.

Thanks for everyones help! appreciated!
