Need help - not starting, f4i
Hey all,
The past few weeks have been frustrating. My bike has been acting up. I was out riding for a few hours, and came home. I parked the bike in the driveway and shut it off. I opened up the garage door, and went to restart the bike, and the bike didn't want to catch.
The bike cranks and cranks, but never catches.
-The fuel pump primes
-I have spark at all four plugs
-Bank angle sensor was bypassed
-Brand new battery. terminals ARE tight and secure
What am I missing? bad ECU?
Thanks

If you have spark, your fuel pump primes, you have all the needed ingredients for starting.....except fuel through the injectors.
My first step would be to inspect the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Not only are they common to go bad on F4i's, they have been known to just not let the bike start out of knowwhere. Pull the vaccum line off the FPR, if there is fuel in the line, the FPR is bad and needs to be replaced..
Thats where I would start.
