more questions about valves
what would be the most out of spec the valve lifters can be out and not worry?
my clymers book says my intakes can be be (.007-.009) on a couple of mine i have .006
would it be worth adj for .001 out ? my exhaust say (.010-.012) to be set at
ive read some threads and they say the cam tensioner on these bikes go i have a 2000 honda cbr600f4
and hear light ticking and stop lights in idle?
any thoughts????

As far as the adjustment. I say yes,adjust them. Allthought .001 in itself isnt much, if you look at the actual range of adjustment, which is only .002, your actually 50 percent of your range out of adjustment. Since your there, you might as well adjust them.
the CCT's are known for being noisey. If your getting up there in mileage, you could replace it just to be safe. But I think if they are going out, they make more than just a slight ticking at idle.
