More dumb questions (decals this time)
Hey, i posted a question about handlegrips a few days ago, and now im upgrading to an even dumber question hahah. Whats the best way to remove the stock decals and put new ones on. For example; i want to remove the white honda wings from the gastank and replace them with blue wings, and the same for the red "RR" on the back- replace it with a blue RR. My brother told me get a heat gun, or a hair dryer, and some rubbing alcohol but i just wanted to verify this with some people who are more experienced. Im sorry if i'm posting such rudimentary questions about apperance mods, but i just want to do things the right way. Thanks a lot!

Your brother is right. Take a hairdryer and heat the decal up, start to peel it while keeping heat on the decal as you peel it off. They dont need alot of heat, so keep the dryer a few inches back. If the decal is stretching and pulling apart, you have too much heat on it.
if you have any residue, take some wd40 and will clean it up. then, take the rubbing alcohol to get rid of the wd40 residue. Now it will be ready for the new decal.

Are the decals on a RR gas tank under the Clearcoat like most other bikes? (they do it so that fuel spills won't ruin the stickers). Probably are, if so your going to have a much harder time trying to remove them. If they aren't then hairdryer and ..ugh.. wd-40 will do the trick like justa said. If it is under the clearcoat, you'll end up with a sunken area and lip where the decal was if you manage to get it off, and is a serious pain in the ***, might want to consider just overlying the original ones.
